HOW TO MANAGE HATERS AND CRITICS ON YOUR JOURNEY TO SUCCESS

When you are striving for success, it is inevitable that there will be people who doubt you, criticize you, make negative comments about you, and don’t believe in your vision. While it can be easy to let these negative vibes bring you down, the only way to reach your goals is to focus on what matters and ignore the haters. Here are some tips on how to manage those haters and critics while still focusing on your journey.

Acknowledge It’s Not Personal
When someone is being negative or critical of you or your work, it’s important to keep in mind that it’s not necessarily a personal attack against you. It could be jealousy, insecurity, ignorance or something else entirely unrelated to you. Understanding this can help give perspective when faced with criticism and helps prevent taking it too personally or letting it get under your skin.

Be Open To Constructive Criticism
It can be hard not take criticism personally but at times criticism can help us succeed. Be open minded enough to take constructive critiques into consideration but also know when criticism isn’t helpful in any way. If the criticism is valid and comes from an honest place then make sure to consider the points made and if they align with your goal of success then incorporate them into your journey.

Don’t Take The Bait
It can be tempting to engage with a hater especially when they are making comments online but this only fans the flames of negativity. Don’t take the bait; instead stay focused on yourself and ignore their words or actions as much as possible. The best thing you can do for yourself is focus on growing rather than engaging with those who may want nothing more than for you fail.

Everyone has haters and critics during their journey towards success; however, knowing how to manage them without getting discouraged will ensure that these naysayers don't derail your progress along the way. Acknowledge that their comments aren't personal attacks; keep an open mind by considering constructive critiques; and don't take the bait by engaging in any sort of negativity—these steps will ensure that any hater or critic won't stop you from achieving success!
